Primary Area of Research: 

Improving the care of children who suffer from acute gastroenteritis:

1.  Management of paediatric gastroenteritis - ondansetron, probiotics & outcomes research
2.  Management of paediatric gastroenteritis - rehydration therapy, HUS prevention
3.  Constipation - acute management and diagnostic approach

Through the conduct of collaborative, multidisciplinary, multi-centre research and translation of the knowledge gained into improved clinical care, the  goals are to develop and ensure that children receive the best available evidence-based care for the treatment of common acute childhood enteric illnesses.
