Neurodevelopmental Conditions in the Classroom: How to support students with neurodevelopmental conditions
Children with genetic neurodevelopmental conditions present with individual and unique profiles which can easily be misunderstood for common neurodevelopmental conditions. In this interactive session, our speakers:
·Defined a few neurodevelopmental disorders
·Discussed the strengths, challenges, and joys that students with neurodiverse conditions can experience in the school setting
·Provided support strategies for students with certain neurodevelopmental conditions in a round table discussion format
