The BioCORE provides biobanking and bioanalysis support for researchers undertaking pediatric translational research projects at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Our vision
To establish a research-oriented, Canada-wide biobank and bioanalysis core facility for pediatric research. Our goal is to support and generate clinical research insights that ultimately improve pediatric health.
History
The BioCORE was established in 2014 as part of the new Pediatric Neurocritical Care Program in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children's Hospital.
